In week's 11 and 12 of my GD210 unit, I had completed most of the tasks set by my group members, and I had been tasked with creating another tower object and recreating the turret object which I created in week 10, which was lost during a revert after I pushed my turret and it's addition into the project, onto the source control program GitHub, which we had been using throughout the trimester for our project. This was a lesson in group communication for me, in future units I will make sure to The second tower which I created was more simple and was based on a cylinder object, as opposed to my first tower model which was based on a cube/rectangular prism. I also learnt about texture mapping in Maya as I had to create a texture map for the model in Maya. My lecturer helped me with this and it was a good learning experience for me which will help me in future units. It didn't take me long to create the second tower and it was quickly added to the project.

In Week 12 of my unit, I completed an oral presentation about my efforts in the unit, and I also had to recreate the turret object which I made during Week 10, as a revert issue with our source control software caused it to be deleted from the project file, and I had mistakenly not saved it elsewhere. Luckily due to my experience with making the model the first time, it was relatively easy for me to recreate it, and I didn't have to ask my lecturer for help as much this time. The turret turned out nearly exactly the same as before minus a few details, and I made sure to add it to the Google Drive for our project as well as the project file itself. Unfortunately the turret I created was not used in the final build of the project, again due to a lack of group communication, something which I need to work on in future units, an observation which I included in my oral presentation. The SAE showcase for our trimester also happened in Week 12, and it was well attended, and the projects I had worked on with my group members throughout the project attracted much attention from parents and interested parties alike.
