For my week 6 class in my GDS210 unit for 2019, I continued to work on our 3D Bomberman project. I spent the majority of my week 6 class working on the score system for the game. In week 5 I had been working on the game manager and score system for the project, however the solutions which I had created were not working as intended, and needed refinement. So in week 6 I decided to work on and continue to refine the game manager and score system for my game.
The main problem I had was that the score system required one player to earn a point when all other players had been killed. This took quite a bit of work and a significant amount of help from my lecturer, though eventually I was able to get it working.

The above image shows a work in progress view of one of the game levels. We created two levels in the game, one in a beach setting and one in a desert setting. In week 6 I was tasked with creating the palm tree models for the beach level, as can be seen in this image. I tried to keep as low a poly-count as possible when creating the model using Maya, and I coloured the model in Maya. Overall this week was productive and I hope to do more work on this project in the coming weeks.
